Booking & Visiting

No appointment needed. We accept walk ins during all open hours. You can also schedule online or by phone if you prefer to book ahead. For longer jobs (brakes, A/C compressor, suspension), booking ahead is faster.

Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 4pm, closed Sunday.

Most oil changes are done in 30 to 45 minutes. Tire rotations, similar. Brake jobs run 1 to 2 hours. Tune ups are usually 1 to 3 hours. Bigger repairs (suspension, A/C compressor, cooling system) can take a full day. We always give you a clear time estimate before any work starts.

For quick services like an oil change, tire rotation, or a brake inspection, you can wait. For longer repairs, we’ll let you know up front so you can plan a ride or work remotely from our waiting area.

Services & Vehicles

All makes and models — domestic, foreign, and hybrid. If it’s on Tampa roads, we work on it.

Yes. Every repair we do is backed by a 6-month parts warranty.

Most vehicles need an oil change every 3,000–5,000 miles for conventional oil and 7,500–10,000 miles for full synthetic. Florida heat can shorten oil life slightly, so don’t push it too far.

Common signs include squealing or grinding noises, a soft brake pedal, longer stopping distances, or a brake warning light. Bring it in and we’ll do a free brake inspection.

Florida heat puts huge strain on A/C systems. Common causes are low refrigerant, a clogged cabin filter, a worn compressor, or a leak. We can diagnose and fix it.

Florida-Specific Questions

Does Florida heat really affect my car?

Significantly. Heat shortens battery life, stresses A/C systems, accelerates oil and coolant breakdown, ages rubber components (hoses, belts, tires), and damages cooling systems. We recommend more frequent battery, coolant, and A/C checks for Tampa drivers than the manufacturer’s general schedule.

Yes. Check your battery, tires, wiper blades, fluids, and brakes before storm season hits. We run a pre hurricane inspection that covers all of it. Read our blog: Hurricane Prep: 5 Things to Check on Your Car Before Storm Season.

It can. Tampa Bay’s salt air can quietly corrode brakes, suspension components, and undercarriage parts over time, especially for cars driven near the coast or parked outside. Regular inspections catch issues early. A simple undercarriage rinse after coastal drives also helps a lot.

We recommend every 30,000 miles or 2 to 3 years in Florida (the more frequent end of the manufacturer’s recommendation). Tampa heat shortens coolant life. Details on our cooling system repairs page.

Most car batteries last 3 to 5 years, but Florida heat can shorten that to 2 to 3 years. If your battery is over 2 years old and starting slow, get it tested. We do free battery checks.

Pull over as soon as it’s safe. Turn the engine off. Do not open the radiator cap. Call us at (813) 374-1634 for advice or arrange a tow to 8701 N Nebraska Ave. Continuing to drive an overheated engine can turn a $200 repair into a $4,000 one. More on our cooling system page.

Yes. Tampa has plenty of them. Hard pothole hits can damage tires, wheels, alignment, suspension components, and even oil pans. If you hit one hard and the steering feels off, the car pulls, or you hear new noises, bring it in for an inspection.
